I felt like our vacation was finally starting the day after Tipton got his cast. So of course we started the day by going to SuperTarget to do a little shopping! The kids behaved really well. I think they were just so glad to get out of the house (to somewhere other than a doctor's office.) We stocked up on all various things that we can't get in Sweden, like Neosporin, certain children's pain relief medications, a certain kind of deoderaunt, the toothpaste the kids like, etc. Nothing very exciting, but entirely necessary. And the kids were really great. So on the way home we stopped at McDonald's. And when we got home I got out the elephant pool.
I had ordered a special 'sleeve' to fit over Tipton's cast to keep it dry, and it had come in the mail that day. Looked like he was wearing a giant ovenmitt, but it worked!
