Every year towards the end of school Bladins has a Midsommar Celebration. The kids bring flowers to decorate the midsommar pole. They spend weeks learning all the Swedish songs and dances. Parents and families are invited. The kids sing and dance around the midsommar pole. Then the parents join in and sing and dance with them. Then there is much snacking - everyone brings a little something and the blankets are spread out and picnicing commences.
